Elmira Everlasting – Be it ever so.

April 24, 2024

Join your friends, classmates, teammates, and colleagues. Make your gift on Elmira Everlasting, the College’s 24-hour giving challenge, which will be held from 12:01 a.m. to midnight on Wednesday, April 24.

Top Priorities in 2024

The Annual Fund

The Annual Fund at Elmira College supports the College’s greatest needs each year — from direct student support and scholarships to buildings and grounds to classroom upgrades and enhancements. Please give generously to ensure that our students have what they need when they need it most.

The Turf Field

Elmira College is moving forward with a multi-sport turf field – an exciting opportunity that will not only enhance the College’s athletics, but also support enrollment and retention efforts, and support mental and physical well-being on campus as identified in the College’s 2023-2028 Strategic Plan.

How Can You Get Involved?

1. Participate in the Class Challenge to see which class can generate the greatest number of gifts and be named the “Most Everlasting Class.” The size of the gift doesn’t matter – whether someone from the Class of 1989 gives $19.89 or $198.90 or $1,989, every gift counts.

What if my class isn’t listed? That's okay. You can either become a fundraiser and create a page for your Class or use this link to make your gift. Don't worry, we'll make sure your gift is counted towards your Class for the Class Challenge.

2. Participate in one of our special challenges – April 24 only!

  • Calling all “Graduates of the Last Decade”! If you graduated between 2013 and 2023, gather your classmates and make your gifts from 7:00-8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. President and Mrs. Lindsay will give $25 (up to $1,000) for every GOLD donor who gives during that time.
  • It’s Power Hour! Jason Keith ’02 will give $25 (up to $1,000) for every donor who gives from noon-1:00 p.m.!
  • Double your gift! Thanks to a generous donor, any gift of $250 to $1,000 made to the Annual Fund will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $5,000. This is the perfect way to double your impact!
  • Attention Class of 2012! Kat Slye-Hernandez ’12 will match every Class of 2012 donation of $20.12 or more that goes towards the annual fund or the turf field up to $2,012!
  • Double your turf field gift! Thanks to a generous donor, any gift of $500 or more will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $7,500!
  • With each challenge, your gift counts as one, their gift counts as one. That means more gifts representing your Class!

3. Share a post about why EC is “Your Place” and be sure to include #ElmiraEverlasting. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram throughout the day.

So… rally your classmates, make a gift of any size, and be sure to follow the #ElmiraEverlasting fun on Facebook and Instagram throughout the day.
“As the Unprecedented Class of 2024 starts to count down the days until graduation, we have an amazing opportunity to reflect on all of the memories and relationships we have made at Elmira. We are so grateful to be a part of this community, now and into the future as well. Be it ever so!”
